Richard J. Amrhein
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and its School of Law, Richard J. Amrhein joined the firm in September of 1984. He has been a partner with the firm since January, 1991. Mr. Amrhein's practice is concentrated on estate planning and administration, guardianship matters, contracts, business organizations and related matters, real property and mineral law. Rick staffs the firm's Bridgeville office on a part-time basis.
Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and all other Pennsylvania Courts, and the Federal Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Mr. Amrhein, prior to commencing practice with Peacock Keller, served as a judicial clerk to several members of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, while maintaining a small private practice. As a law student, Rick served as a legal intern in the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, in both its Appellate Division and its Pre-trial Division.
Mr. Amrhein is a member of the Pennsylvania, Washington County and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and active in his parish.
Rick is an occasional skier and ice skater and enjoys biking, canoeing, and model rockets with his three children. He and his wife, the former Mary Michalowski, a lab technician who works part-time at St. Clair hospital, reside in Collier Township, Allegheny County. They are the parents of three children, Andrew, Luke and Rose.
