Jonathan G. Higie
Originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania, Jonathan Higie graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in 1986, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Policy and Management Studies; and he received his Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law in 1989. While in law school, Jonathan participated on the 1988 Irving R. Kaufman National Securities Moot Court Team and was a law clerk with the Honorable Judge Christine Nettesheim of the United States Claims Court in Washington, DC, in the Summer of 1987.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Higie practiced law with the firm of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott in Pittsburgh before joining Peacock Keller in August 1991. Jonathan is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, (House of Delegates 2002-present), Washington County and Allegheny County Bar Associations, and his practice of law is concentrated in real property, commercial and residential lending, mineral law, environmental law and selected municipal and zoning law matters.
Jonathan is a past President of Group Home, Inc. of Washington, PA, has served on the Board of Directors of Allegheny County Special Olympics, serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Industrial Development Corporation and is a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania with his wife, Lisa, daughter, Kyleigh, and son, Benjamin.
