Peacock Tales
Volume 18, Number 2 · April 2008Please Meet Larry Ging
We would like you to welcome our newest attorney Larry E. Ging. A native of Pleasant Hills in Allegheny County (where he still resides), he was a scholar-athlete at Thomas Jefferson High. In high school, Larry played football as an inside linebacker - at 170 pounds - which spells courage and perseverance to us at Peacock Keller. He earned a degree in journalism at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown and his law degree at Duquesne Law School in 2003.
Larry has many qualities we really like, and believe you will too. He is a hard worker. All through law school he found time to serve as an extern or a law clerk for a judge, the district attorney or a law firm. Afterwards, he gained considerable litigation experience in several busy law offices in Pittsburgh.
Larry married his wife, Julie, in 2004. She is in graduate school, training as a nurse anesthetist at the University of Pittsburgh. He comes from a tight-knit family. His identical twin brother, Brandon, is an attorney currently serving as a law clerk for one of our Washington County judges. He also is active in his church, St. Thomas A' Becket in Jefferson Hills, and in community life. He still loves sports, and continues to play hockey, and is an avid reader and history buff.
Larry is a good writer using his journalism experience well in the practice of law. We also enjoy his pleasant manner, as much as his keen mind. We hope you will find him as easy to work with as we do.
