Roberts and Key New Partners at Peacock Keller
John Rodgers, Managing Partner at Peacock Keller, has announced the addition of two new partners, effective January 1, 2003. Susan T. Roberts and Susan Mondik Key are familiar names and faces to Peacock Keller clients.
But they came to Peacock Keller by different routes. Susan Roberts is a native of Philadelphia but was raised in Arizona. Having set her sights early on becoming a lawyer, she worked for a prominent Phoenix law firm in every job up to paralegal and firm administration over a ten-year period, steadily amassing college credits at Arizona State University at Tempe, where she got her B.S. degree in political science and English in 1988. A Merit Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she got her juris doctorate in 1992 and came straight to Peacock Keller, working first as a clerk and later as an associate. Susan has a remarkable record as a hard worker and is extremely dedicated to our clients' causes.
Susan's husband, Glen Roberts, is a network administrator for PNC Bank in Pittsburgh. They have two children, Erica, 19, and Andrew, 11, and they reside in Upper St. Clair.
Susan's law practice is wide-ranging, although she concentrates on litigation, employment law, and school law.
Susan Mondik Key arrived at Peacock Keller by a different route. A Washington native, she graduated from Peters Township High School and then received her B.A. degress in English and economics at W&J College. Her law degree is from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1989.
After several years in two good law firms here in Washington, she finally came to Peacock Keller in 1996.
Her legal work has concentrated in elder law, estate planning and administration, but she also works with business clients and is an accomplished trial lawyer.
Susan Key has been active in the Washington County Bar Association, serving on its Executive Committee and as its treasurer. Like Susan Roberts, she is also a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.
Susan Key leads an interesting life. She is married to Abe Key, prominent local businessman and the World President of Pony Baseball, Inc., and they have two children, a daughter, Casey, 10, and a son, Lincoln, 7.
We welcome these young and talented lawyers to partner status in our firm. We know our clients will enjoy their energy and enthusiasm, as well.
