Peacock Keller in Action
Susan M. Key has been elected the new Zone 6 (Southwest Pennsylvania) member on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She will also serve a three-year term in the PBA House of Delegates.
Ken Baker was recently elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Greater Pittsburgh Council, Boy Scouts of America. He has been active in Washington County Scouting groups for years.
Mary Pruss, who regularly services our Waynesburg office, is active in Greene County. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Waynesburg Chamber of Commerce and Waynesburg's Downtown Revitalization Program. She was recently honored by the Waynesburg Lions Club with the Melvin Jones Award for 2002.
Peacock Keller lawyers are active at the widely-known "Center in the Woods" in California. Charles Keller serves on the Endowment Development Committee and his wife, Carol, serves on its Board of Directors. Susan M. Key serves on the Endowment Advisory Board and recently conducted a seminar on "Medicaid Planning" at the Center.
Wes Cramer recently addressed the Annual Conference of Bible Students in Chicago. Some 400 heard his presentation on "The Law of Moses and Its Influence on Modern Civilized Jurisprudence."
Mary Gail Korsmeyer recently presented a program on "Restrictive Covenants Not to Compete" to the Women's Business Network in the South Hills.
Steven Curry of Waynesburg, our law student clerk, was recently certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as a Certified Legal Intern. A second year student at Duquesne University School of Law, he is eligible to provide legal assistance in certain types of civil and criminal matters.
