Please Meet... Andrew S. Chumney
Yes, he is the newest associate at Peacock Keller & Ecker, LLP. A cum laude graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, he received his BA degree in history in 2000. He joined us in August.
His juris doctor degree is from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003, where he served as Executive Articles Editor on the Law Review.
A native of Cambridge, Ohio, he set his sights on the law early. While at W & J, he helped the Washington County Bar Association in a biography project. While in law school, he interned for a period with Federal Judge Donald Ziegler and clerked for two years with a prominent Pittsburgh litigation firm.
Andrew is admitted to the Bar of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and to the Washington County Courts. At Peacock Keller, his work focuses primarily on litigation, school law, and mineral law.
Andrew and his wife, Jennifer, (a Washington County native) and their eight-year old son, Christian, reside in McMurray. Their family interests include golfing, 19th Century (especially Civil War) history, and sports.
Andrew is quiet and young but don't be fooled. He writes well, is well versed in automated research, and has a keen mind. We think you will agree he fits in well at Peacock Keller.
