Peacock Tales
Volume 19, Number 1 · January 2009Atty. Rachel K. Lozosky Joins PK & E
Our newest lawyer at Peacock Keller exudes personality. It is partly the warm smile, but also her enthusiasm for her work and the people with whom she comes in contact, clients and lawyers alike.
Rachel K. Lozosky joined us in October and works with partner Barbara Graham in our school law group. And that comes naturally to Rachel. Her father, Dr. John Lozosky, is a widely known and much respected school administrator, having served as Superintendent at the Charleroi and West Jefferson Hills school districts.
Raised on the family farm in Deemston which dates back three generations, Rachel is a graduate of Beth-Center High School and Washington and Jefferson College. She graduated from W&J in 2001, majoring in Political Science and Psychology. She obtained her degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2004. While at Pitt, she clerked at a law firm in Washington, Pennsylvania and for two Pittsburgh law firms, with emphasis on litigation, municipal and school law. In 2005, she began a three-year term at a Charleroi law office with a broad practice in commercial law, estate planning and litigation.
We think Rachel's wide experience will serve our clients well in the diverse fields comprising school law.
Just newly married to John Friedmann, a Legal Services lawyer in Uniontown, Rachel and John reside in Bentleyville. Asked about her avocational interests, she had quite a list . . . cooking, the family pets (especially her cat), a LOT of church work at St. Michaels in Fredericktown where she is a certified catechist, serving on the Board of Directors of a service club, the Washington Zonta Club, working out (especially swimming), music (piano) and, of course, reading.
Clearly, Rachel is a busy young professional. We think you will enjoy getting to know our newest lawyer at Peacock Keller.
