Peacock Keller in Action
A team of trivia experts from Peacock Keller (Nolin, Giecek, Curry and Keller) competed in the Washington Rotary Club's charity trivia challenge at the Washington Public Library on March 15, 2003. You might guess that the Library entrant bested the other 18 competing teams. Our team excelled in the spelling quiz, but slipped on the animal segment. Do you know what a baby octopus is called? (Neither did we.)...
Ken Baker has been busy. He taught 3 class sessions on school law at California University of PA on May 6. On May 21. he was presenter at the "On Line Youth Protection Workshop" for the Boy Scouts at Flag Plaza in Pittsburgh. The BSA education program in youth protection is outstanding.
Mary Drake Korsmeyer presented a lecture to the Washington County Medical Society in January at the Hilton Garden Inn. Her educational program to physicians dealt with "End of Life Care Issues."
Charles Keller attended two recent Pennsylvania Bar functions. The first was the annual PBA meeting in Philadelphia April 23-25. The second was the annual meeting of the PA Bar Trust. KELLER is a past president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a past trustee of the Trust, and a Current member of the PEA House of Delegates.
Peacock Keller sponsored a team in the McGuffey Youth Soccer Organization (age 11) and under) during 2002-3. Coached by Joy and Chris Sprowls, the team just completed a winning season.
