Higie Joins Management Team at PK & E
Jonathan G. Higie, a 13-year veteran at Peacock Keller and a partner since 1999, was elected to serve on the firm's Management Committee beginning January 1, 2004. The Committee also includes Roger J. Ecker and is chaired by John A. Rodgers. Jonathan replaces Douglas R. Nolin, who rotates off the Committee after serving for 10 years as a member and as Managing Partner from 1995 to 2001.Jonathan's clients and law practice concentrate on real property, commercial and residential lending, mineral law, business law and selected municipal and zoning law matters. Jonathan is a native of Bradford, PA. His undergraduate degree is from Dickinson College in Policy and Management Studies in 1986. His law degree (J.D.) is from the Dickinson School of Law in 1989. He clerked for a federal judge in Washington, D.C. in 1987 and worked in a prominent Pittsburgh law firm prior to joining Peacock Keller in 1991. Higie has served as an officer or director in a number of charitable, non-profit agencies. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Washington Industrial Development Corporation and a Washington County Bar Association representative to The Pennsylvania Bar's House of Delegates. Jonathan lives in Cecil Township with his wife, Lisa, an Assistant Vice President with Mellon Financial. They have two children, daughter Kyleigh and son Benjamin.
