Our newest associate, Tom Steele, was born and raised in Washington, Pennsylvania. He is a 1988 graduate of Trinity High School. Following high school, Tom served as a Sergeant in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1992. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Sciences from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1996. After graduation, Tom and his wife, Laurel, moved to Columbus, Ohio where Tom took a position as a Construction Safety Manager. In 1998, they moved to Indiana, Pennsylvania and started their own construction company.
In 2011, Tom and Laurel returned to Washington, Pennsylvania with their three boys and Tom entered the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, Tom interned with Southwestern Pennsylvania Legal Aid Services in Washington, Pennsylvania. He also interned with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office where he prosecuted several non-jury trials. Tom was also employed as a law clerk for a Pittsburgh law firm during his second and third years at Pitt Law. During law school, Tom won the Moot Court competition and Best Brief award in 2013. He also represented Pitt Law as a member of the interscholastic Mock Trial team and Moot Court team. Following law school, Tom worked as an associate attorney for a Pittsburgh law firm before joining Peacock Keller in August of 2015.
Tom focuses his practice on Litigation. Tom is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
