Andy Chumney has been elected Managing Partner by the Firm’s Partners, as of January 2019. Andy previously served as a member of the Firm’s management team for three years as Assistant Managing Partner. Andy is a member of the Firm’s Energy Department and has worked with some of the country’s largest energy producers in a broad array of energy and real estate matters. Peacock Keller is looking forward to 2019 and the leadership Andy will bring to the future of the Firm.
Andy graduated from Washington and Jefferson College cum laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In 2003, Andy earned his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, serving as Executive Articles Editor for the Duquesne Law Review.
Andy is a member of the Pennsylvania and Washington County Bar Associations, as well as the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation. He regularly presents on energy related topics to various organizations.
Andy has been active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Washington County and Habitat for Humanity. He served as a coach for the Canonsburg Youth Baseball League, Canon-McMillan Youth Basketball League and TWIST Softball. He and his wife, Jennifer, currently reside in South Franklin Township with their son, Christian, and daughter, Ava.
