Please Meet Eric D. Harbison

A native of Westmoreland County, Eric has lived most of his life in Greensburg. He is a graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School. In addition to a fine academic record in high school and college, Eric was a sports enthusiast and a competitor . . . baseball, basketball, football, each in its own season. He specialized in track and field competition.

He graduated in economics with honors from Bucknell University. While there, he concentrated on running distance and middle distance and lettered 12 times. Eric is still an avid runner and recently finished the famous Boston Marathon in 2 hours and 44 minutes. That kind of activity (and success) is a clear indicator not only of his ability, but also his discipline.

He attended the Law School of the University of Pittsburgh, where he was honored with multiple scholarships and served as Topics Editor of the Law Review. While in law school, he interned with the District Attorney’s Offices in both Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. He also spent a summer interning with the U.S. Army JAG Corps at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Following his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2010, Eric spent a year doing litigation support work for a management consulting firm. And not surprisingly, in his spare time, he coached cross country and track and field programs at his old high school.

Eric joined Peacock Keller in October of 2012. He works with our Litigation Group primarily in oil and gas litigation and in a variety of medical and other defense areas. Pleadings, discovery and trial support have kept Eric busy.

His quiet confidence and good performance masks a good sense of humor. We think our clients will enjoy meeting and working with Eric Harbison.
